• DIAGNOdent - Patients appreciate the comfort and convenience of a touch-free dental exam with our innovative DIAGNOdent laser. Dr. Byars simply scans the teeth with DIAGNOdent, and the unit detects cavities in the earliest stages, when they can be treated conservatively. By finding decay early, we help patients spend less money and less time in the dental chair.

• Dentrix Practice Management Software - Dentrix software keeps our office running smoothly and our patient records organized. This secure and user-friendly software suite lets us maintain detailed records, including digital imagery and smile previews, without papers, folders, and bulky files. We can focus more attention on caring for you and less time searching for files! Computer monitors in each operatory allow us to share digital images with you, so you can take an active role in your oral healthcare.
• Digital Radiography - X-ray images enable us to locate tooth decay early, which decreases the potential for large cavities, and we can also see hairline cracks and areas between teeth for an accurate, comprehensive diagnosis. Traditional X-rays expose patients to harmful radiation and require harsh chemicals to develop, but digital X-rays emit a fraction of the radiation and produce sharp results, instantly available on a chairside computer monitor.

• Intraoral Cameras - Ever wonder what we see inside your mouth with those tiny hand-held mirrors? With intraoral cameras, you can see for yourself, live and in full-color. Digital cameras embedded at the tip of a plastic wand relay images from inside your mouth to a chairside computer monitor. This tool lets us illustrate oral conditions and diagnoses with visual aids, so you can see and understand the condition of your mouth and make wise choices about care.
